This couple wanted their celebration to be reflective of the special family memories close to their hearts, specifically those of their favorite summer holiday. The occasion called for two decorated photo walls and was brought to life with bright flowers, a deliciously fresh menu, and an American classic: a snow cone machine! AS SEEN ON: Inspired By This

Our goal was to create a romantic and intimate engagement party that captures the nostalgia of hometown summers but with ever-so subtle hints of stars and stripes. From a “Sip and Be Seeded” garden escort wall, to lush and colorful place card holders, this party is filled with elegant details that showcase the beauty that blooms with summer.

For us, the 4th of July is best spent with loved ones, savoring memories of old while creating new ones to cherish, and a photo backdrop wall featuring an assortment of heirloom baskets that had been passed down to the bride & groom was the perfect way to capture them. Eyelet lace and woven charger plates helped set the scene for a gorgeous tablescape that was the home to not one, but two stunning centerpieces with a variety of florals in refreshing hues. -Cassandra

Guests were able to find their place at the table by first stopping at our “Sip and Be Seeded” Escort Wall. Baskets filled with fresh blooms were attached to a wooden wall and the table number assignments were beautifully displayed amongst the flowers. Guests were able to grab a packet of flowers as a keepsake and a SIPP soda for a fresh beverage. This wall was one of our favorite displays to create to date and we love how summery it feels.

As a subtle nod to the Fourth of July holiday we created individual “Stars & Stripes” place card holders. Calligraphy place cards with delicate stars next to the guest’s name with placed inside miniature striped vases. The flowers added in a beautiful pop of color against the neutral table linens.

When you’re hosting an outdoor celebration at a private residence a backdrop wall can add a bit of privacy, as well as serve as an adorable photo backdrop for your guests! We created this display by attached old baskets and trays and including a sunburst mirror with a custom “You Feel Like Summertime” vinyl decal.
